For a morning long-haul out of Heathrow or Gatwick, give yourself a genuine buffer rather than the optimistic one. The cost of leaving 40 minutes early is a coffee. The cost of leaving 40 minutes late is the flight.
Why Do Groups Get Stung the Worst?
Because the maths turns against you fast. A family of five with cases, or a team of six, does not fit in a standard saloon, so you end up in two cars, two drop-off charges and two lots of stress.
